@CSScoder: You Need to learn shorthand:
“use less lines of code and combine the background properties like

body{
background: #1570a4 url(../images/background.png) no-repeat top center;
font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;

Good tutorial as always.. :)

If you wanna slice some part of layout you can also use : Rectangule marguee tool + image + crop + and ‘Save for Web’.
I think thats the best tool for slicing layout’s etc… :))

Nice tut, enjoyed reading it.

CSS in shorthand or not, I can’t say I care (perhaps I am not pedantic enough??), it all works and is valid and the overall tut was good.

i think the word your looking for is CSS SHORTHAND. The reason i dont is because i want to make it as easier as i can for people trying CSS for the first time.

I can write css shorthand all day but for someone just starting out, it might be a tad overwhelming
