I have the same problem with the second pattern and the filling that goes after it. When I try to fill the area with the pattern, nothing happens… Please help, I really want to finish this tutorial.

to asd …u must to creat a new layer when u make this 10x 10 transparent whith pencil tool, after that whne u go back to canvas u creat a new layer and make this selection tool into the new layer not in the backround layer …and it works…hope it helps
