Hello there, unfortunetly this isnt the next tutorial, but a post for your input. On a daily basis we recieve about 5 -10 e-mails asking us to code a certain layout from a tutorial previously done…

We at hv-designs want to know from all our readers is Which Layout Tutorial you want to see coded as a tutorial. So were asking you to filter through our database of layout tutorials and find the one you want coded. You can filter the tutorials by “web layouts” by using the categories button on the navigation bar.

How Do I Submit My Submission?
Simply post below in the comments area the ONE layout you want to see coded.

What Do I Have To Put In My Submission?
* The exact name of the tutorial,
* The link of the tutorial (just so i dont make any mistakes).

How Long Have I Got To Make A Submission?
You’ve got untill the 30th of april to make a submission so theres no rush. Any submissions submitted on the 30th of april after midnight wont be counted.

The top 5 most popular web layouts submitted in the comments area will then be entered into a poll which il put up at the end. The winning layout in the poll will then be coded. You’ll be able to view the tutorial on the main page as normal. The winning layout will also be available to download for free.

Thanks for your time

regards,
The HV Team

    Goodmorning Richard -

    I don’t really have a suggestion for a layout, but a suggestion to implement a donation script on your site. I believe you’re teaching a skill that is very useful & valuable. I used to visit your site sporadically, now that you are providing coding tutorials i visit it almost everyday.

    I think is fair, I’m absolutely positive other visitors appreciate your work, they’ll have a chance to make a donation, and you can maybe fund this site… and provide more coding tutorials: php, jquery, etc.

    You make it easy to decipher coding tutorials….

    Thanks for your work!

    will the layout include how to set up RSS and things like that? also would you extend the design process? just curious

    it would be great to see this one fully coded.

    thank you for letting our input be heard.

    @ABRAHAM
    i had a donation section setup couple of versions ago but never had any. Plus i dont really like asking for money. The website is funded by the ads in the sidebar delivered from buysellads.com, thx for your comment ;)

    @YOGIBEN
    the winning layout will be a 5 page website, so we’ll be making main page, and 4 subpages to go with the design, depending on what design wins, you might see some jquery and php thrown in.

    I think the Dark Layout Tutorial is a good one to know. You can use Jquery for the image slide show at the bottom (or flash?) and it is great layout to learn.

    But anyone will do me Richard….it’s always a pleasure.

    I’m interested how you would code the arrow over the active menu item. I did it but I’d like to know if there is a different and easier way. And the overall layout looks simple but awesome. So learning how to recreate it will be very handy.
