Create a new document 900×800 with a drak gray color (#131313), select the rectangular marquee tool and draw out a rectangle in the middle of your canvas.

CLICK HERE TO SEE THE LAYOUT SO FAR.

Now add these layer styles to your rectangle.

Your layout should now look like this. (see link below)

Now search google images or your favourite stock photo site and find yourself a picture of a camera, copy & paste your camera image onto your canvas. Resize your camera image to site on top of your rectangle.

If you notice in the image above i have also added a drop shadow and a reflection. If you dont no how to do reflections then thats ok because i have already written a tutorial on how to do reflections. Reflection Tutorial

Now select your text type tool and type your site title/slogan etc.. at the top left of the rectangle, add these layer styles.

Your text should now look like this.

Now all thats left to do is convert it to your favourite blog software, a free blog is available from wordpress.com
